Case study of a Brody disk adopted for bridge measures in a large wood chip silo.
Regarding the introduction of the Broa Disk to the large silo, we received a request from the sawmill to send the silo's drawings and to propose the installation locations and quantities. Based on the shape of the silo and the contents (wood powder, no samples were sent from the customer), we proposed the installation locations and quantities based on past experience. The proposal was to install 5 units on one side, totaling 20 units. However, this customer was already using Broa Disks, and it was noted that even with a small number of installations, they were achieving significant effects. As a result of our consultation, it was decided to install 3 units on one side, totaling 12 units. The results have been very favorable and are operating without any issues, as expected by the customer (the site representative).
